The Music
We are pleased to announce that highly acclaimed singer songwriter and former Australian Crawl frontman, James Reyne, will be performing live at all 2012 Optus Flix in the Stix tour stops.

With his prolific song writing and unique vocal style, James led Australian Crawl to the top of the Australian music scene during the 1980’s. The band went on to sell more than 1 million albums in Australia and created several memorable songs that still resonate within Australian culture including "Reckless", "Beautiful People" & "Boys Light Up".
After the band split in 1986, not before winning best male vocalist for 3 consecutive years, James went solo. His first self-titled album went triple platinum and included 3 top 10 singles including "Hammerhead", "Fall of Rome" & "Motors to Fast". His next solo release "Hard Reyne" featuring "One More River" was also well received with a string of hits. The '90's saw 3 more albums and several side projects including theatrical performances and a duet with country singer James Blundell titled "Way Out West" which hit #2 on the Australian charts.
After a few years break, from 2004 Reyne released 4 albums in quick succession including "Speedboats for Breakfast", "...And The Horse You Rode In On", "Every Man a King" & "Ghost Ships" spawning a number of hits. This was closely followed in 2007 by his first live DVD "One Night in Melbourne".
To this day James’ songs and lyrics resonate with Australian and international audiences alike.
